Anyhow, recently I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D and was completely and utterly blown away by it all. I'm too lazy to type out a long journal right now, so I'll copy and past from my livejournal onesXD Note: I added smilies because I think it adds to it all.

So like I said I would, I went and saw Alice in Wonderland last night and so much freaking fun I about danced out of my skin
Despite what some reviews say, the movie was fan-fucking-tastic and I say fuck those people who bitch and moan about this version. Let them go stew in their own juices.
The 3D effects were amazing and I didn't even get sick like I did when I saw Avatar, which is a blessing because I forgot my motion-sickness pills XD The colors were really wild, super bright and out there in a way that's expected from the fact that it's in Wonderland. There were tons of big-named actors in it, my boyfriend and I were fangasming over finding out that Christopher Lee was the Jaberwock- the voice anyways. The man's a movie freaking legend!
I suppose what had me fangirling the most was just how creepily adorable Johnny Depp was playing the Mad Hatter. The Hatter's been my favorite character in Alice in Wonderland since a kid when I saw the cartoon version and I think Depp did him great justice. I just wanted give him a big hug
Now as to what I mean by AiW being a event, I mean that's what it really felt like. There were tons of young people-by young I mean my age and a little bit younger-, they were joking and laughing and someone even broke out into 'If you're Happy and You Know It', getting myself and everyone else to join! There were people in costume all over the place and I even made some good friends while waiting for the movie to start. When it started and when it ended there was applause from everyone- I wouldn't be surprised if we woke the dead!
I'm exhausted still because I didn't get home till 3:00 AM and I didn't end up falling asleep right away when I got home but I am very content and I have a new fandom. I bought myself a Mad Hatter poster earlier in the day with a few people, which was hilarious because Stephanie's car really was too small for a poster that size XD That and my dad's '
I think I'll end up seeing it again this weekend. I'm in such fangirl love right now

Yep it's that time again, I actually have a live action movie to squeal over again. It's been a few years since I had something like this, really since the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. So that's about three years ago? I can't remember and I don't wanna move to get the movie to check and see. Meh lazy.
Anyhow, I've been on as fan girl blast as of this morning. I bought the actual soundtrack at Best Buy and I've been flipping through a few one-shots. There's not too many out there yet but give or take a few weeks or so, I'm sure there will be plenty. I may even at some point take a stab at a one-shot or so.
I found out there is a novelization of the movie and I about fangirled right off the bed. I plan on getting it as soon as I can. I don't care if it's for younger kids or not
On top of all this, I've also found a cute, fluffy pairing to adore over and read teeth rottingly sweet fan fics for
I'm becoming a rather big fan of Alice/Hatter due to all the cuteness of the scenes they were in together and the little looks and such. I wanted to have Alice stay in Wonderland with him. It would have been the ideal ending for me. But I understand that she had some things to settle back home
I really really want a sequel
